FAQ
What each Fujify pack contains?
Each Fujify pack contains 13 film simulations:
- Acros (Std, +G, +R, +Ye)

Each film simulation (apart from Acros and Monochrome) comes in 9 variants based on additional effects:
- Color Chrome Effect (CCR)

- Weak
- Strong
In total, each pack contains 107 profiles/LUTs.
Some examples on how film simulations and effects are denoted:
Reala Ace - film simulation with no additional effects
Reala Ace CCR S - Reala Ace with Color Chrome Effect set to Strong
Reala Ace CCR W CCB S - Reala Ace with Color Chrome Effect set to Weak and Color Chrome FX Blue set to Strong.
Which Fujify packs are available?
Currently there are 5 Lightroom profile packs:
- Fujify [Fuji] - intended to be used with Fujifilm cameras
- Fujify [Sony] - intended to be used with Sony cameras, color matched to A7RV
- Fujify [Canon] - intended to be used with Canon cameras, color matched to R5ii
- Fujify [Nikon] - intended to be used with Nikon cameras, color matched to Z8
- Fujify [Apple] - intended to be used with Apple’s ProRAW images, color matched to iPhone 15 Pro
Along with those Lightroom profiles, there are also 4 LUT packs:
- Fujify [F-Log, F-Log2, F-Log2 C] - intended to be used with Fujifilm cameras
- Fujify [S-Log3] - intended to be used with Sony cameras
- Fujify [Apple Log] - intended to be used with Apple Log footage
- Fujify [Apple JPEGs] - general purpose pack, can be used with any Rec709 footage or sRGB images but was originally made for iPhone’s photos
Fujify [Fuji] Lightroom profiles?
This pack should work with any Fujifilm camera, so if you have multiple cameras there’s no need to buy “base packs” that adapt these profiles to your camera.
You might say that you already have camera matching profiles in Lightroom for your Fujifilm camera, and while that is true there is still value in having these profiles, namely:
- There are no CCR or CCB effects with built in camera matching profiles
- Built in camera matching profiles are less precise
- You might have an older camera that doesn’t have some of the currently available film simulations
Fujify [Sony]/[Canon]/[Nikon] Lightroom profiles?
This pack should work with any Sony/Canon/Nikon camera, respectively. Each of them is based on the camera’s Standard profile.
The caveat here is that if a system’s Standard profile changed between generations, you might get the expected results only with the same generation camera as the one it was matched to. It should still be close enough depending on how big the change was.
Fun fact: Lightroom doesn’t check which system’s Standard profile is the base profile, meaning that you can use the Sony pack with Canon/Nikon cameras and vice-versa (or any system that has a Standard profile). You won’t get the same results, but hey, it will work!
All of these use the same color matching process.
Fujify [Apple] Lightroom profiles?
This pack should work with any ProRAW image, but due to a different color matching process results in slightly oversaturated colors. You will still get the respective “creative look” each film simulation gives.
Fujify [F-Log, F-Log2, F-Log2 C] LUTs?
Let’s first address the elephant in the room. How can these LUTs be for all of the F-Log variants?
Well, that’s because they aren’t really for any of the F-Log variants, but at the same time can be used for all of them. I’ll explain, I promise, but first I need to tell you how it works using a term I just coined.
These LUTs are meant to be applied after the Eterna Cinema LUT and are based on the BYOEL (Bring Your Own Eterna LUT - that’s the term) approach, meaning that they can be used for any Fujifilm camera as long as there’s an Eterna LUT available. Fortunately, Fujifilm provides these so they are publicly available here. Unfortunately, those LUTs can be different on a per camera (or per sensor) basis. If that Eterna LUT was baked in, it would be a different pack for each camera (or sensor) since there might be minute differences in those LUTs due to sensor changes.
So if you have an X-S20 and F-Log2 footage, you can apply these LUTs after the X-S20 F-Log2 to Eterna Cinema LUT and get the film simulations. Likewise, if you have a video with baked in Eterna Cinema film simulation, you can just apply these LUTs to get the film simulation you want. You can see where this is going, right? If you have an Eterna Cinema-like low contrast image or video, you can apply these LUTs and get the film simulation look you’re looking for - this last bit only guarantees the film simulation's “creative look”.
TL;DR: To be used with any F-Log variant video, these LUTs need to be applied after the publicly available F-Log(/F-Log2/F-Log2 C) to Eterna Cinema LUT for your camera.
In the end, this was a design decision that makes it a single pack for all Fujifilm cameras (even the upcoming ones) and all F-Log variants - as long as there’s an Eterna Cinema LUT available. And most importantly, it’s a single purchase for you.
LUTs are supplied as .cube files and can be used in any application that supports them, most notably DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
Fujify [S-Log3] LUTs?
This pack was designed to work with S-Log3 footage in the S-Gamut3.cine color space.
LUTs are supplied as .cube files and can be used in any application that supports them, most notably DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
Fujify [Apple Log] LUTs?
This pack was designed to work with Apple Log footage.
LUTs are supplied as .cube files and can be used in any application that supports them, most notably DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
How accurate are Fujify profiles and LUTs?
Based on my experience, I believe the technical term is “pretty accurate”. While the accuracy may vary based on the color matching process (Sony/Canon/Nikon should be on par, but Apple ProRAW and JPEGs are slightly worse), it will still get you the “creative look” for each film simulation.
You can take a look here for comparisons and examples.
How to get the best results out of Fujify profiles or luts?
Make sure to white balance your footage to get the correct results.
Are fujify profiles one click edits?
Most likely no, unless you're only looking for the basic film simulation look.
Fujify profiles are made to serve as a "base look" for all your edits.
Why are some comparisons or examples missing?
Showcases will continue to be updated - even the ones that are already there.
I don't have any royalty-free Nikon raw files that can be used for Fujify [Nikon] showcase, so if you want you can send some my way and I'll get the showcase up and running.
Will profiles and luts be updated in the future?
Most likely yes. Once they do you will get a free update by email.
