If you've ever used a Fujifilm camera, you'd know about Color Chrome Effect and Color Chrome FX Blue being used in film simulation recipes to get extraordinary images straight out of camera that look like they were already edited.

Color Chrome Effect takes reds, yellows and greens and deepens their tones to retain color gradation.

Color Chrome FX Blue essentially does the same thing but only affects blues. It's similar to what a polarizing filter would do.
